2026 NTNA Representative Program: EOI'S NOW OPEN!

ree

We know, the 2025 season has only just wrapped up, but we are already looking ahead to next year and are excited to get our 2026 NTNA Representative Program underway!

The NTNA Representative Netball Program aims to foster elite junior talent and community spirit. It's the progression from club netball for those looking at Netball Tasmania pathways and provides a fun and challenging development environment to take your netball to the next level. As a member of an NTNA Representative Team you will participate in four Statewide Junior Carnivals which form part of the Netball Tasmania Talent ID process, as well as promote inter-club collaboration, high level competition and lots of fun!

All NTNA junior netball players are eligible to stand for selection.

The program is split into age-based squads:

11 & Under - Players born in 2015 (or 2016 and playing in the U11 Roster)

12 & Under - Players born in 2014

13 & Under - Players born in 2013

14 & Under - Players born in 2012

15 & Under - Players born in 2011

17 & Under - Players born in 2009 & 2010

Squads train together and then prior to each Statewide Junior Carnival, Division 1 and Division 2 teams are selected.

In 2026, NTNA Representative Teams will be participating in four Carnivals in Burnie (March-TBC), Devon (May - TBC), NTNA (June) and STNA (August - TBC).

Training is held on a Sunday, with our 2026 training venue TBC (either Tasmanian Netball Centre or Northern Suburbs Community Recreation Hub).

Coaching an NTNA Representative Team is a very rewarding experience and a fantastic opportunity to develop your coaching in a high performance environment.

We are looking to appoint an Assistant Coach to each team to help provide more opportunity to those looking to grow as a coach and learn from our experience NTNA coaching pool.

NTNA Representative Coaches also are assisted with planning and training sessions by an appointed Coach Mentor Group.
